Chiropractor & Clinic Director
Justin Linker DC
I have always known that my path was in the healing arts, and I have been on the front lines of healthcare for over twenty years. But after ten years of practice, because of struggles in my life, I began to gain weight and damage my own body.
Poor diet, lack of exercise, stress, bad habits, and long work hours all lead to a steady increase in weight and a major decline in my health.
In 2013 I discovered Spartan Obstacle Course Racing, and my journey back to health began. Having goals on the calendar started to motivate me to make changes in my life. I no longer simply recommended things, I actually took my own advice. Nutrition, exercise, mental and emotional development, enriching my relationship with God, it was a total overhaul.
By 2015 I had lost 40lbs, was completing 6-12 races a year, and had quit drinking alcohol. I now have my health back, but I also have the privilege to work each day to help others just like me. I can now practice from true-life experiences, which have made all the difference in the world.
As of 2022, I have completed multiple marathons, and multiple Ultra marathons, and finished over 30 Spartan races. Who knows what's next!
If I am not caring for patients or training, you can find me living in South Elgin, with my beautiful wife Ann, our four boys: Dain, Cade, Logan, and Jackson (who all run Spartan races), and our chocolate lab Lilly.
Chiropractor
Tim Villaverde DC
Prior to chiropractic, I worked in a memory care facility for 7 years as a director overseeing employees and meeting with potential new residents. I did not find my time fulfilling in that position and desired a career that focused on holistic patient care which led me to chiropractic.
Eventually, I shadowed other chiropractors to learn more about the profession and realized my passions aligned with the philosophies of chiropractic.
I attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Saint Louis where I took classes in acupuncture, active release, dry-needling, flexion and distraction, and rehabilitation. I continue to learn about the Art of Chiropractic through practice, colleagues, and post-graduate classes so I can help our patients receive the best care possible.
When I am not in the clinic you can find me spending time traveling and being outdoors with my wife, Janie, and our dog, Dudley. In addition, I love doing CrossFit, golf, and playing basketball. A little fun fact about me, I completed 6 half-IronMan’s and 5 half marathons.
